Oak class have had a very busy and exciting few weeks. Our topic has been ‘The Planets’ and the children all had lots of fun playing in our space themed home corner and learning lots of interesting facts about the planets.
Parents and grandparents joined us to watch the class retell the ‘How to Catch a Star’ story by Oliver Jeffers and the children were very confident standing up and sharing what we have learned about the planets.
In this week’s forest school Oak Class learned a little about Shrove Tuesday and helped to cook pancakes over an open fire. They tasted delicious along with a warming cup of hot chocolate.
